The 2022-2023 UCSB Actuarial Career Fair has come to a close. Thank you to all the companies, officers, and students who participated!
This year, the Actuarial Association of UCSB and the Department of Statistics and Applied Probability are proud to present a hybrid career fair, with both in-person and online events held throughout eartly October.
Major insurance companies and consulting firms will be represented throughout the event period. Students will have the opportunity to network with practicing actuaries, obtain information, and submit resumes for summer internships and full-time positions.

Events of some recruiters may involve online reservations of individual/small group activities. Please pay close attention to published event information and sign up accordingly.
Resume Submission
Members of the association can submit their resume to our Resume Booklet that will be distributed to all participating employers.
Please be sure to email your resume to aa.ucsb@gmail.com after completing the form. If you have submitted your resume via Google Form already, there is no need to do it a second time.
The resume submission must meet the following guidelines to be accepted into the booklet:
– Submit resume in PDF format
– Name the file “Lastname_Firstname_resume.pdf”
– One page resume only
– Submission deadline: September 30 (October 3 6:30PM FINAL deadline)
Special Note: per request of Pacific Life, only resumes submitted prior to Sep 28, 6:30 PM will be delivered to their recruiters.
Dress Code: Business formal
Even though some events will be held virtually, we still recommend you dress up for any chance you will be opening your camera and facing the recruiters. Standard business attire is recommended, which means a suit and tie for men and comparable attire for women. Events held in-person should also follow similar protocols.
The Actuarial Career Fair is an excellent place to start learning about the actuarial profession. Thank you in advance for helping make 2022 Actuarial Career Fair a success.
